Knotneer Brix Pimento

(*B Knotneer Brix Barley x Knotneer Jackpine Olive 3*M)

Our first milking doe by a homebred buck, Pimento is a strong yet feminine yearling. She has won her class several times this year, including at the 600+ head Minnesota State Fair show,

and placed 18th Milking Yearling at the Nationals. Pim has a willing attitude and was the easiest yearling I've started. She's another one of our does with a lot of milk behind her. Her dam, both granddams, and half of her great-granddams are Top Ten milkers.

There's a lot to love about Raisin. She has the best udder for hand milking- soft texture, large well delineated teats, and wide-streamed orifices that don't leak. She has a strong  front end and a very nice set of feet and legs. Raisin is sweet and can be shown or milked by anyone. She's another doe that spent a lot of time in the "I Milked A Goat" booth at the MN State Fair.

Raisin has a Pogo daughter available for purchase.

Olive has really come into her own this year. At the ADGA National Show in June, she was awarded High Individual Milk and High Individual Butterfat along with her 10th place showing in the 4 Year old Class. In July, she appraised EX 90, our first Excellent doe. In August, she made the Top Ten list for Butterfat and Protein.  Olive also was Reserve Champion twice, once at Dakota County Fair and once at Bluff Country Classic.

We have an Olive daughter, Lettuce, for sale.

Elsa is an affectionate doe who answers to her name and loves to be hugged. I was thrilled last summer when Elsa became our first homebred to make the Top Ten list! She is a very strong, level milker and was still making 12 lbs at over 500 days fresh.

Elsa kidded 04-02 with a doe and a buck. The buck is for sale.

Gala has a lot to live up to. Her dam is a two time National Breed Leader;  her sire's full sister  GCH Rowe's Raven Flora 92 EEEE is a two time Top Ten doe. Gala was milked through her first lactation and kept up a level around 7 lbs a day while growing a long tall body. As a three year old second freshener, she has added udder capacity to match.

Mango is a strong milker but I hadn't expected a Top Ten lactation from her. She was so nice as a yearling I retained her Brix son and now have one milking granddaughter of Mango's, Pimento. Mango does not like to be shown but she will make an appearance at the 2010 Minnesota State Fair to compete in the MDGA Futurity.

Mango is for sale.
