Trinity is my superstar milker with a Hollywood story. She was purchased for $75 at a meat auction. She went on to prove her true value by becoming the #1 producing Toggenburg in the United States, not once but twice. Read more about Trinity's story at http://www.dairygoatjournal.com/issues/88/88-1/gems_at_the_sale_barn.html
Trinity in July of 2007 testing at 18.9 lbs
Trin is quite small- 27 inches and 130 lbs- but she has such a strong personality that she seems much larger. In addition to her other accomplishments, Trinity is also herd queen.

Although Polka is 100% Toggenburg, both her and her dam (Paduca, below) are registered as Experimental. Paduca's dam Princess had disqualifying white spots. However, Polka is close to our ideal dairy goat. She finished her permanent championship in four shows as a two year old, while maintaining a very level lactation of about 13 lbs a day.
Polka is a tolerant doe and spent many hours in the Minnesota State Fair "I Milked A Goat" booth, being milked by strangers.
Polka has a 2010 doe kid by Legendairy Rhappahannock available for sale.

Paduca was purchased as a kid from Melanie Rubesh of Ru-Ridge. "PD" is a doe that always dials it up to 11. She was difficult to introduce to the herd because she will not back down from a challenge. She has the same attitude with milk production.
Her pedigree is interesting. She is the only living daughter of Printer, sire of 1986 & 1987 National Champion GCH Swiss Chocolate SCP Jessica, 4*M, and the only living granddaugher of the famous foundation buck ++*B Diamond Sunshine Reformation.
Paduca also has two extreme type traits- her rear udder and her dairy character. One appraiser commented, "I have seen maybe three or four rear udders like this in my life." Another said of her, "This is what dairy character is all about."
Tomato has been part of the 1st place Starbuck Get of Sire at MN State Fair for several years. Here she is in the 2nd Place 2010 Nationals Get Of Sire between her paternal sisters, CH Legendairy Starbuck Rhumba and Paramount Star Rhapsody.

Tomato is another high producing Starbuck daughter. She earned her Superior Genetics designation as a yearling, but really hit her stride as a producer last year. She had several tests around 18 lbs. On the day of our verification test in July 09, Tom suffered an udder injury that punctured her foreudder all the way into the milk cistern. She healed up nicely and surprised me by continuing a strong level lactation. Tomato went with us to the 2010 ADGA Nationals and placed 13th in 5 & 6 Year Old Class.
Below, Tomato at the 2010 Nationals. She got a backhanded compliment when one of the judges said that Tomato had too much milk and the second judge would ask me to relieve her. The ADGA Nationals have a mandatory milkout and of course Tomato was milking through and was almost 16 months fresh. She doesn't look like she is carrying that much in this picture, but she has a wide rump (2x LA 34) and RUH 36-40 so most of her milk is carried above the stifle.
